polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) have been proposed as precursors of the "first RNA" molecule.

PAH's are found in the earliests seas or primordial soup.

Accroding to the RNA WORLD HYPOTHESIS RNA molecules act as catalysts for the evolution of various lifeforms.


PAH --> RNA --->--->---> life
