This is a bit late piece of news/info, but Microsoft will soon be releasing a new Operating system that would replace the Vista. You can read more by clicking the link:

Beta copies are no longer available, but I can lend you a downloaded copy for evaluation purposes.

What hardware specs (RAM, speed, speed....etc) would you recommend at a minimum for W7? Significant upgrade from XP/VIsta?
